Sharp has announced new Wireless LAN enabled television sets which also appear to support a variety of media formats. Some of the specs on these new sets include:
Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11a/b/g
Video: MPEG-1/MPEG-2/WMV9
Photo: JPEG/PNG/BMP
Audio: MP3/WMA/LPCM/WAV
Guess we’ll have to wait and see what all of this really means:
