Now here’s an interesting storage technology – the Optware Holographic 30GB Card manufactured by Optware Corp.. It’s a storage media the size of a credit card that is capable of storing 30GB of data. The cards themselves are known as Holographic Versatile Cards and use technology called Collinear holographic technology. Unfortunately the card readers cost upwards of $1800 while the cards themselves are around $1 each. Expect the card sizes to shrink over time.
