Citigroup Loses Data on 3.9 Million Customers
Great. Just great. Citigroup apparently lost a package containing credit information of about 3.9 million customers of the company’s CitiFinancial Branch Network. The information includes customer names, Social Security numbers, and payment history information. This data was stored on computer tapes being sent via UPS to a credit bureau. Check your mail to see if Citigroup is sending out any warning letters.
