Wondering what Yonah is? Well it’s the code name to the next notebook processor coming from Intel and News.com has some new info on it here. The basics are:
- it will be a dual core processor
- no 64 bit extensions support
- shared 2MB cache
- built on 65 nm process
- 151.6 million transistors
- improved power consumption
The new processor will be paired with the Calistoga chipset and the Golan Wi-Fi module from Intel. Expect Yonah in the first half of next year.
