We mentioned that WinBook was entering the MCE market a few weeks back and PC Mag has a review of it up on their website. Just a refresher, WinBook is now selling the PowerSpec MCE 410 system which comes in a stereo component looking chassis design. Spec wise, the system comes with:
- Pentium 4 processor
- 915 chipset
- 512MB of RAM
- ATI Radeon X300SE graphics controller
- Avermedia M-150 TV Tuner
What’s the final verdict?
The WinBook PowerSpec MCE 410 is an affordable and stylish way to bring PC power and Media Center functionality to your living room. Unfortunately, the lack of a few key high-end components detracts from an otherwise well-rounded Media Center.
