PC World has some details on the latest version of Office which is due out in the second half of 2006. The new version (known as probably Office 12) will highlight collaboration, information discovery and content management. Here’s a quote from the article:
The new version of Office will focus on areas such as collaboration, business intelligence, enterprise content lifecycle, and reducing IT complexity, according to Capossela, who is the company’s vice president of the Information Worker Product Management Group.
Beta testing for the new product will begin in the third quarter of this year.
