ViewSonic has announced a low cost 20 inch LCD monitor called the ViewSonic N2010. The N2010 goes for around $450 and provides 450 nits of brightness and a 500:1 contrast ratio. There are inputs for composite, component, and S-Video and the screen’s resolution is at EDTV levels. It appears the screen has a 4:3 ratio which would also help explain the low cost of this 20 inch display. This might make a nice addition to the kitchen or bedroom.
