palmOne has officially announced the LifeDrive handheld. This device has a 416MHz Intel XScale processor, 16MB of ROM, a 4GB hard drive, Bluetooth support, 802.11b support, 320 x 470 screen, Palm OS 5.4, and SDIO support. The MSRP is $499. Don’t confuse this as a regular PDA folks – the LifeDrive is meant to be a mediacentric PDA – supporting up to 2 hours of video, 1000 pictures, and 300 songs. There’s also a voice recorder, MP3 player, and photo viewer software on this system.

Of course – there are plenty of reviews out too.
