Windows OneCare about to get tested
Microsoft will be rolling out its new Windows OneCare service to its entire employee population this week (60,000 people) for testing. This is Microsoft’s all in one subscription service designed to protect users from viruses and spyware. It also contains utilities which will speed up the performance of a Windows box. A full scale test should be out by the year’s end. Microsoft is entering a space dominated by the likes of Symantec and others. Should get interesting.
