Is that a supercomputer under your desk?
Orion Multisystems has begun selling their new DC-96 system – a 96 node supercomputer packaged inside a chassis not much larger than a small fridge. The DC-96 uses 96 1.2Ghz processor Transmeta Efficeon processors to deliver a peak performance of 230 gigaflops and all this for around $100,000.
