DigiTimes is reporting that widescreen laptops are on the rise around the world. By the first half of next year, 80 – 90 percent of all notebooks models will probably be widescreen variants. Even IBM is getting into the widescreen market by adding a widescreen model to the Thinkpad R and G lines.
