Sony has partnered with Cingular Wireless by offering built in wireless wide area network capabilities in their T-series of VAIO notebooks. The new models are the Sony VAIO VGN-T350P/L and VGN-T-350/L which will have built in SmartWi. Users can switch between regular WiFi support and Cingular EDGE wireless support on their laptops as they roam from region to region. These new notebooks will be available starting in June for around $2,200.
