While we’re at PC Mag, I thought I’d post up a link to another interesting review – this time of the Sony VAIO VGC-RB38G Media Center PC. Up until recently, Sony had been manufacturing Media Center PCs for the high end consumer. The Sony VAIO VGC-RB38G is the first in a line of moderately priced MCE boxes from Sony that should fit the bill for most users. I love the black finish tower case that the unit resides in – classic Sony Media Center design. What’s the final verdict?

As an introduction into the world of Media Centers with TV/DVR recording, the Sony VGC-RB38G is a good, moderately priced starter machine that will record TV, surf the Net, and perform other multimedia tasks.
