DigitalReviews.net reviews the JOBO Giga Vu Pro device. What is it exactly? It’s similar to the Epson P-2000 multimedia storage viewer – the Giga Vu is essentially a portable storage device that photographers would use to offload their digital pics to. You can also listen to MP3’s and watch video files but the real application for the Giga Vu is for picture storage and viewing. What’s interesting about the gadget is its use of Linux as the OS. It’s not the prettiest looking PMP device but how does it perform?

If you are an ardent photographer it is absolutely essential to be able to back up your images to a hard drive.

That doesn’t really say whether you should get this or not – soo.. if you’ve got cash to burn and you’re a serious photographer then definitely consider it.
