Live Digitally reviews the iAudio 5 and Lexar LDP-600 Flash Based MP3 players here. Both players support a variety of music formats, record voice, and have built in FM Tuners. What’s different about these players when compared to something like the iPod shuffle is the inclusion of an LCD screen. So what’s the verdict on these players?
With so many features found in each player, many will be enticed to one or the other. It’s a shame we can’t buy one player with the entire set of stand out features in one device. The standout features of the iAudio 5 are its display and broad file format support. The LDP-600 is notable for its FM transmitting capabilities and SD card support.
Ok.. so there’s no firm answer here but clearly there are alternatives out there if you’re not interested in the iPod shuffle – that’s what’s important if you ask me.
