You get what you pay for – that has never been more true than with Plextor – world reknown for their high quality, great performing optical drives. There’s a new one out from these folks – the Plextor PX-716A which supports 6x DVD+R DL burning. NICE! What’s the verdict from the geeks over at TrustedReviews?

Once again Plextor has produced the fastest DVD writer out there, but with the competition close behind, it’s hard to justify the high asking price.

Ahh yes.. Plextors were always a bit expensive too.
