If you’re lucky enough to check out the Home Entertainment Expo in NYC this week, check out some of the latest 1080p televisions being unveiled. PC World has a few tidbits on some offerings from the likes of Samsung and HP.
Samsung has a couple of new DLP TV’s – 56-inch HL-R5688W going for $5199, 56-inch HL-R5668W going for $4499, 61 inch HL-R6168W going for $4799 and 67-inch HL-R6768W for $6199. The HL-5688W and perhaps the HL-R5668W both support 1080p.

Meanwhile, HP has a couple of new 65 inch and 58inch DLP TV’s which will also support 1080p. Finally, Samsung is also shipping a new CRT HDTV – the 30-inch TX-R3079WH. This new TV is part of the SlimFit line which allows the TV tube to be considerably smaller than previous models.
