ExtremeTech has some coverage of day 2 at WinHEC here.
There were some very interesting Tablet PC designs and prototypes. Acer had an convertable notebook which looked similar to HP’s Tablet PC design.

Intel had a unique 7 inch system that was actually running Windows Media Center 2005.

There were some other cool items on display at WinHEC. TI had an innovative modular usage model for mobile PCs where PCI Express-to-PCI bridge chips coupled with ExpressCard interfaces allowed users to have docking stations without lugging around heavy equipment.
