VIA has begun selling S3 graphics cards to its North American users through its website. S3 had practically disappeared from the graphics market five years ago when VIA Technologies purchased the company. It was a good thing too since S3 wasn’t able to keep up with the likes of NVIDIA or ATI. However, demand for S3 cards have apparently picked up in recent months (though I don’t understand why) and VIA has decided to sell graphics cards through the newly established “GStore” online shop.
