Samsung is planning to enter the miniature hard drive market later this year. The company’s first product will be a 4GB hard drive of the 0.85 inch variety. This will put Samsung directly in competition with Toshiba. Samsung has their work cut out for them as competition will be fierce – both from Toshiba as well as from flash memory makers.
