*drool*.. That’s how I feel whenever I come across an LCD HDTV system. That’s how I felt when I saw the review of the Hitachi 32HDL51 LCD HDTV. This dandy LCD system has a native resolution of 1366 x 768 but processes video in 1080p format. The back panel has support for HDMI and Firewire as well as inputs for the CableCard standard and a USB port for digital cameras. What’s the verdict?
My ultimate criterion for great gear is: Can it suspend disbelief and pull me into a story? The Hitachi 32HDL51 performs that emotional sleight of hand like a master. I’d have kept it if I could have gotten away with it.
