3DXtreme reviews the Apacer ShareSteno CD311 40GB Portable Backup Device here. It looks like a portable digital audio player but it’s actually a 40GB hard drive to go. You can connect all sorts of media and devices to the CD311. The goal? well to back up your data of course. In fact, this drive would have been VERY useful to me a few weeks back when my laptop died on me. *sigh* What’s the verdict?

But all in all it is a very nice, easy to use portable storage and we recommend this for anyone on the go who needs the extra space without the need for carrying around bulky hardware.
