I forgot to mention this yesterday but the palmOne Tungsten E2 is now official and you can find the product page here. It’s got an Intel 200MHz XScale processor with 32MB of memory (although only 26 MB of it is actually available). Some of the cool features – a 320 x 320 color screen capable of displaying 65,000 colors, a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery and support for SD, SDIO, and MMC card formats. As far as wireless connectivity is concerned, the E2 supports Bluetooth but it doesn’t have built in Wi-Fi support. Weird huh? Well I suppose you can always add Wi-Fi support via a SDIO card but that’s still a shame. All in all, this is definitely a middle of the road PDA. It comes in at a good price point with enough features to satisfy most users out there.
