Google Video Program Launches (in Beta)
Remember the notion of Microsoft Windows everywhere? (or was it Microsoft everywhere). Well, it sure seems like we’re seeing a world where it’s Google everywhere. Google has now launched an online video upload program which allows users to upload their own videos to Google servers for free hosting. You can deliver your videos to anyone on the internet via the Google service and you can even have Google charge fees to people who want to view your video. So why get into video you might ask? Well for one thing – storage is cheap for these guys but more importantly, having an online video storage center allows Google to experiment with ideas on how to index videos. Check it out!
