HardwareCentral reviews the LG Flatron 1980Q – a middle of the road 19 inch LCD monitor which comes in at a very expensive 800 dollars. Why so much? Well the 1980Q comes with one unique feature – a very flexible stand. The LG Flatron 1980Q can bend over backwards – LITERALLY! The screen can be tilted a full 150 degrees allowing one to easily show the screen to someone else facing you. So the final verdict?
Overall, we were impressed with the monitor, albeit more for its flexibility than its price/performance. But if your 19-inch LCD shopping list has a higher-than-usual number of checklist items — portrait/landscape pivoting, fast refresh, customer presentations — the L1980Q is a better-than-average pick.
