BIOS magazine reviews the Canon EOS 350D which is otherwise known as the Canon Digital Rebel XT. The 350D is the successor to the EOS 300D and comes with a new 8.0 megapixel CCD. It’s 10 % lighter in weight and 25 % smaller in volume than its predecessor. Verdict?
The image quality of the EOS 350D Digital is first rate, bettering that of the original EOS 300D Digital (3456×2304 versus 3072×2048 pixels) and a clear match for the EOS 20D. The camera produced excellent colour rendition, but like other ‘prosumer’ digital cameras, it tended to over-saturate some colours slightly.
