Pioneer introduces the world’s first two DVD-R DL recorders – the DVR-530H and DVR-555H. Each player uses a built in HDD to store video content. You can then use high speed recording (up to 100x) to record from the HDD to the DVD-R DL burner. These units will be available in early May or early June. Let’s not forget about regular DVD-R burning. You can burn a standard DVD-R disc in 40 seconds thanks to the incredible 12 x burn speeds. DVD-RW disks burn at a rate of 6x!
