It’s been almost 10 years since I finished college so it’s a bit hard to imagine what college life is like nowadays. However, given the rate of change that has occurred in technology over the last decade, it’s not suprising to see technology all around the average american college campus. USAToday has a nice writeup about how technology has changed the average campus and how students are taking advantage of these changes. Cell phones, iPods, wireless networks were not a fact of life for me back in the early 90’s.. but nowdays, these are normal daily gadgets. *sigh* Almost makes me want to go back to school… ok not really.
