I’ve always been a fan of Japanese case and system manufacturer Soldam. They’ve got a new case out in Japan called the Alphia Venus. It’s a thin profile case that can be stood upright like a tower or on it’s side. This actually might make a decent HTPC case also although I have to wonder if there’s enough ventillation within this case. Soldam used to make a wide array of small form factor PCs but Shuttle has pretty much dominated the business and design all around the world nowadays.
